Fat Melting Tabata Trilogy

Hi everyone,

This morning I got up early and went to the gym. I did some leg weights, abs, and some pull ups. To supplement this resistance training, I thought I would add in a short but intensive Tabata Trilogy – meaning 3 tabata’s in a row!!! That’s right 3 in a row lol

There are only 3 exercises in this workout, so it’s even more brutal, because you have to do the same exercise for 4 minutes. I designed the workout to include exercises that will work the most muscles and burn the most calories. There are 2 cardio exercises and 1 resistance / core exercise.

The Workout

Only set your Gymboss miniMAX Interval Timer for 8 cycles of 10 seconds rest and 20 MAX effort, because you are allowed a little rest between exercises, just restart the timer when you’re ready to begin the next exercise.

The 3 exercises are:

  1. 2-Handed KB Swing
  2. Push Ups into Diagonal Knee Tucks
  3. Squat Tap Taps

This workout is only 12 minutes long, but it will feel like so much longer.  Push yourselves to the limit and you will feel amazing after it’s all over.  If you do not have a Kettlebell, you can substitute this exercise with Burpees.
